UPDATE: Low Testosterone Replacement Therapy

On Behalf of | Mar 24, 2013 | Drug Safety, Medical Malpractice

Last week on the William DeClark &Tuschman press page, we wrote a small article called Low Testosterone Therapy Not Out of Woods Yet that discusses Androgel and the lawsuits that have been brought forth regarding dangerous negative side effects. Testosterone Replacement Therapy products for men are being linked to an increased risk of death, heart attack and stroke. In two studies, researchers have found that men who used testosterone therapy were 30 percent more likely to have a heart attack, stroke, or die after three years of use. A second study found that men had a significant increase in risk of heart attack and stroke in just the first 90 days of testosterone therapy use. Prescription treatments such as Testim, Axiron and Androgel are used to help boost testosterone levels in men who have “Low T,” a deficiency of the male hormone. If you or someone you know has used Testim, Axiron, Androgel or any other Low Testosterone Replacement Therapy, we ask that you contact the Williams DeClark Tuschman law offices. You can also call your office at 419-719-5195 as we are more than happy to answer any questions you may have and put you on the right course of action.
